How to Order a Photograph

Special Event Fee:
This fee is when I cover an event where there are alot of participants
The session fee is waived and I just charge by the photo.

Session Fee:
The session fee covers photographer’s time and talent. It does not include print prices.
Session fee is due one week prior to your session.

STYLE
My style of photography is casual, informal, and relaxed. I love to catch people in a moment when they have forgotten about the camera and are just being themselves. This is when I see those great shots that truly capture the spirit, energy and personality of people. This is not to say posed portraits do not have their place, and each session does include some posed images.
TIME AND LOCATION
Sessions will typically last any where from 1 to 2 hours to let you become comfortable with me and the camera. I will come to the location of your choice…a favorite park, your backyard, wherever you are comfortable. For colder months I can bring a small portable studio to your home. If you need location ideas please let me know; the Kansas City area has several beautiful locations perfect for photography.
WHAT TO WEAR
Simple, clothing that won’t distract from your family or date your images is preferable. Solid colors are a great choice. Try to avoid logos or busy patterns. For family portraits, dress everyone in the same tone for a more unified look. Simple sun dresses for girls and denim for boys works well….and you can kick off those shoes and go barefoot! Feel free to bring a change of clothes for variety.

VIEWING PROOFS
Within two weeks of your session I will contact you for a proofing session. I will bring the photos I have taken on a DVD so you can watch on your television set thru your DVD player. It’s important to have everyone present who will be involved in selecting your choices, so please plan to have them available. The DVD will be available for purchase for $35.00 at your proofing appointment if print order exceeds $125.00. Payment for print order is due at this appointment.
